Our production facilities are located in 250 acres, consisting of:
450,000 square feet of heated growing space
105 acres of unprotected, outdoor production space
32,000 square feet of cold frames
50,000 square foot shade house
On average, the production facility annually produces:

More than 1,000,000 annuals (including herbs & vegetables)

48,000 Fall Mums
65,000 Poinsettias
Our plant production division grows more than 1,057 varieties of annuals and vegetable starters, 675 varieties of perennials and grasses and 350 varieties of trees, shrubs, groundcovers and vines. We produce over 2.2 million plants at our facilities each year.
Homestead Growers is an exclusive regional grower of Chef Jeff Herbs & Vegetables and Raymond Evison Clematis. With the huge interest in vegetable gardening this past year, the Chef Jeff line has rapidly grown to meet the consumer needs. Picture tags, with great information and hundreds of varieties to choose from including heirloom and novelty plants (peanuts, corn, etc), have made Chef Jeff a household name.
Raymond Evison is a world-renowned clematis breeder; He has won numerous awards at the Chelsea Flower Show for his Clematis cultivars. Developed in partnership with Poulsen Roser A/S, these gold medal winning plants undergo 10 years of trail and assessment to guarantee reliable, free-flowering and top performing clematis that represent truly modern flowering plants for today’s homes and gardens.
